As part of the broader research program, the Queensland Government seeks gambling-related research proposals to be funded through the Responsible Gambling Research Grants Program. The purpose of the grants program is to:

enhance the quality and quantity of gambling related research in Queensland and

contribute to the development of gambling policy in Queensland
Applications for the Responsible Gambling Research Grants program are called annually.
