For most people, gambling is an enjoyable leisure and entertainment activity. For some, however, gambling can have negative impacts. In the long term, benefits to the gambling industry can be enhanced and safeguarded only by minimising harm to consumers and the community as a whole.
In Queensland, the challenge of developing responsible gambling policy and practice is shared through a partnership between the community, gambling industry and the Queensland Government.
This section of the website includes useful and required information for the gambling industry to provide safe and supportive gambling products and services. Downloadable versions of the Queensland Responsible Gambling Code of Practice, Responsible Gambling Resource Manual, signage, industry training and supporting forms and materials are available below.
